Junior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) in Barcelona.

WHO WE ARE

 

You will be part of the product team in Barcelona which will be building the Porsche Community Applications.

Using leading edge technology, the team will develop an integrated platform to connect the global community of Porsche drivers and prospects around our versatile portfolio of Porsche community events. Based on this framework we will create a digital experience that matches the brand’s aspirations.  

The agile product team will have full product ownership and drive one of the most important strategic assets in the company’s digital marketing landscape.

You will have the opportunity to grow with the Porsche Digital Family, enhance the local company culture, and set new standards for our collaboration also within our global network at Porsche. 

We have a beautiful office established in the center of Barcelona and also offer a flexible mobile working policy.

WHAT YOUR TASKS ARE

  • Work hands-on implementing our product through modern BE technology
  • Implement and maintain our backend architecture for durability and quality
  • Develop new features alongside customer feedback and data
  • Development and implementation of web-interfaces, backend services and APIs to existing services and integration of other ecosystem assets and capabilities
  • You will be an active part of an agile team, take over product responsibility, work closely with other teams in the digital ecosystem at Porsche, integrate crucial assets and capabilities as well as scale the product.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • You have a degree in IT or have graduated from a Code Academy and preferably have a year of experience in backend development
  • Knowledge of modern backend development tools and techniques
  • You are familiar with Java/Kotlin and Spring/Spring Boot or are willing to learn and any experience with AWS cloud services is a bonus
  • Have experience using source control
  • You are a team player being part of an agile team, actively taking care of team culture and the product value towards our customers
  • Our company language is English, so you should speak it fluently
